AW by Andrea Wong is a fashion accessories line inspired by the Pacific Northwest. The Vancouver based line was born out of a desire to create a strong cohesion between quality of materials and craftsmanship. Each item is handcrafted by Andrea and her team in their Vancouver studio. AW creates functional accessories that tell a story: durable products made from natural materials that age gracefully, creating rich visual histories.
When it comes to the AW product, detail is everything. The interior and exterior of each bag is given equal weight, with careful consideration paid to how the bag will wear over time. Waxed canvas bags are lined and include additional details such as interior pockets.
Raw edges on leather goods are carefully finished to maintain a consistent elegance. Each item in the line tastefully showcases its own unique charm with natural leather textures, hand branded AW leather labels, hand-stitching details and the use of limited-run textiles. These elements give each AW item individuality, while also allowing them only to be produced in small runs, intentionally avoiding mass production
